What’s New?

New Features

Compliance

  • The ServiceOps application now supports GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and POPIA compliance. These laws regulate how individuals’ personal data is collected, used, and protected. To implement this, the following changes are made:

User Form

  • The User Custom Fields section is renamed User Form.

  • Along with the Custom fields, System fields are now available on the User Form.

  • While editing the fields, users can mark the fields as PII (Personally Identifiable Information) using the PII checkbox.

Privacy Settings

A new sub-module, Privacy Settings, has been added to the Admin > Organization module to activate the features related to data protection compliance.

Requester/Technician List Page

The user can anonymize the archived Requester/Technician from the list page using the Anonymize action.

Roles

The following new permissions are added:

  • Anonymize User: This permission allows to anonymize the archived user if required.

  • Manage Privacy Settings: Users holding this permission can only view and configure the privacy settings.

Security

  • The entire structure of the Password Policy page is enhanced to accommodate the GDPR-related features. The configurations are now available based on their type, i.e. High, Medium, Low, and Custom.

  • The PII Audit tab has been added to the Security page.

  • Audit related to the privacy regulations will appear in the Configuration Audit tab.

Asset and CMDB Management

  • Support for Nutanix Cloud Discovery in Asset and CMDB modules.

  • Support for Rocky and Almas Linux OS Asset Discovery and Patch Management.

  • Users can print the asset details using default or custom print templates.

Enhancements

Request Management

  • The maximum number of characters allowed in the Request/Service Category Name, Service Name, Problem Category Name, Change Category Name, and Release Category Name is increased to 255.

SLA Management

  • Users can now configure a maximum of 5 Response Time Escalation Levels in SLA. This helps the user set multiple escalations levels in case of an SLA breach.

Contract Management

  • The user can now search for the required contract using the “Tags” option. This option is available in the Search filter of the Contracts List Page.

Dashboards and Reports

  • Users can view the conversation, notes, and solution-related data in the release and problem module reports. To view this data, the following columns are added:
    • Collaboration (Release/Problem Tabular and Summary Report)
    • Notes (Release/Problem Tabular and Summary Report)
    • Solution (Problem Tabular Report)

Workflow Improvements

  • Support for placeholders and RTF format in the Description field of Approval Workflow and manual approval.

  • The maximum number of days allowed in the condition has been extended from 30 to 365 in both Workflow and Approval Workflow.

Event Notification Improvements

  • Users can now enable or disable event notifications specifically for Email, Teams, and WhatsApp applications. Additionally, a configuration audit entry appears when changing notification settings.

Miscellaneous

  • Users can download the audit trail entries in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats. Further, they can password-protect the PDF and Excel files.

  • Users can now view the application and cluster health monitoring details on the portal.

  • Users holding view-only permissions can download and export the records on the list page. This applies to modules like Request, Release, Change, Contract, Project, Patch, Problem, CI, and Asset.

  • The following date fields are added to the Condition of Workflows, SLAs, Approval Workflows, and Scenarios:

    • Created Date
    • Resolved Date
    • Closed Date (Only for Workflows)

These fields apply to modules like Request, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, and CMDB.

Created and Closed Date fields are added to the Condition of Dashboards and Reports.
