What’s New?​

New Features​

Asset and CMDB Management​

  • Users can perform asset discovery and patch management for Pardus OS.

  • Technicians can now design and customize QR code label templates, adjust dimensions, add images and text, and modify layouts to suit different asset types and requirements.

Patch Management​

  • Users can perform patch management for WinRAR and 7zip applications.

SSO Configuration​

  • Motadata ServiceOps now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration with a Google Workspace login provider.

Users​

  • A new sub-menu, Custom Scope Configuration, has been added to the Admin Users menu. It enables the Admin users to create attribute-based Custom Scope to control what technicians can view and update across Request, Problem, Change, and Release tickets.

Miscellaneous​

  • ServiceOps now complies with WCAG 2.x standards, supporting assistive technologies like keyboard navigation, screen readers, and text-to-speech for an inclusive user experience.

Enhancements​

Asset and CMDB Management​

  • Enhanced Application Discovery to automatically create Application CIs and map suggested relationships to matching CI types for streamlined management.

  • The following out-of-the-box (OOB) Application CI Types have been introduced:

    • Web Server: IIS Web Server (Only for Windows) and Apache Web Server
    • Database: MySQL (Not supported for MacOS), SQL Server (Not supported for MacOS), and Oracle (Only for Windows)

  • Support for Redhat OS v9.5 asset discovery and patch management is added.

  • A new out-of-the-box (OOB) All Orphan Software Assets filter is added to the Software Asset List page.

  • Users can now edit the expected return date for asset movements after creation, allowing schedule adjustments without canceling or recreating the request.

Patch Management​

  • Users can perform patch management for CentOS 9 and 10 stream systems.

  • Users can configure RedHat patch management with RedHat Satellite Server.

  • Users can now download the Patch Audit details in PDF and Excel formats.

Project Management​

  • Added a new Archive all tasks associated with the project checkbox in the Archive Project confirmation dialog, allowing project tasks to be archived along with the project.

Miscellaneous​

  • Users can now download the Operation Audit in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats. Also, they can password-protect the PDF and Excel files to ensure data security.

  • The Resolution Time and Closed Time Duration fields are added to the following sections of the Request and Problem modules:

    • Request List and Details Page
    • Problem List and Details page
    • Conditions of Scenarios, Workflows, Reports, and Dashboard KPI and Widget

  • The following improvements are made to the Multi-Tenant License:

    • The Used CI Count/CI Count column is added to the Tenant Management list page.
    • The CI Count field is added to the Create and Edit Tenant popup.
