New Features
Asset Management
Added support for RDP confirmation exceptions, enabling admins to reverse the global confirmation behavior for selected assets.
A new Device Warranty Lookup feature is introduced to automatically fetch the warranty details for DELL hardware assets and configuration items (CIs). It allows organizations to fetch official device warranty information—such as start date and duration—directly from Dell without manual input.
Enhancements
Asset Management
Admin users can now apply asset form rules on the system fields during creation and edition.
While selecting the preconfigured build, the user can select which agent build to download if the Agent Credential Profile is set as Optional. The options are:
- With Activation Code: One can download the agent build with the activation code.
- With Credential Profile: One can select the required Credential Profile.
Patch Management
Users can now perform Google Chrome third-party application patch management on the Windows Server OS.
Admin users can now automatically upgrade the File Server directly from the File Server Build tab.
Workflow Enhancements
The following SLA triggers are added to the Workflow:
- Response Escalation Level is changed
- Resolution Escalation Level is changed
Miscellaneous
The ServiceOps UI has been completely redesigned for a more modern, intuitive, and streamlined user experience.
A new Apply Currency Locale Format toggle is now available, allowing administrators to control how currency values are displayed across the system.
Users can now be authenticated using a username when configuring incoming email servers with Basic Auth or OAuth authentication methods.
Admin users can now configure dedicated Outgoing Email Servers for notifications across modules like Request, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, CMDB, Contract, and Purchase.
The Technician Group field is now available for configuration in the following modules of Custom Rules:
- Request and Service Catalog
- Problem
- Change
- Release
