What’s New?
New Features
LDAP Configuration
- ServiceOps SaaS can now connect to Active Directory (AD) within the client’s network for user authentication and login using the Integration Connector, without exposing AD to the public network.
Asset Management
- Custom Scope can now be configured for Asset and CMDB modules.
Project Management
- Requesters can now access the Project Management module through the Support Portal, allowing them to view, manage, and contribute to projects based on the permissions assigned via custom roles.
Support for the Project Requester is currently not available in MSP mode.
Task Management
Added My Tasks menu in the Support Portal, allowing the requesters to view the assigned Project Tasks.
Granular task permissions are now available for both Requesters (Project module) and Technicians (Request, Problem, Change, Release, Project, and My Task), enabling enhanced control over task-related actions within the system.
Auto Patch Deployment now supports Once, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly schedules and an “Expired After” option to auto-expire PDRs for better tracking and control.
Patch Management
Users can perform patch management for the Microsoft Office application.
Poller service can now be installed in the Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux operating systems.

Enhancements
Asset Management
The Enable Client Credential based Communication between Agent and Server flag is now removed from the Agent Credential Profile UI and made backend-configurable. Based on its backend value, the Credential Profile communication will be marked as Enforced or Optional during upgrade.
Users can now link contracts with Consumable assets.
A new System Family field is added in Hardware Asset Details > Computer System tab to identify Lenovo devices during discovery.
The Last Barcode / QR Code Scan Date and Last Barcode / QR Code Scan By fields are added to the following sections:
- Software Asset list page > Column Selection
- Software Asset list page > Search Filter
Also, its audit entry appears in the Hardware Asset Details page > History > Audit Trail tab.

Workflow Enhancements
Administrators can now configure periodic workflows in the User module to automate user-related tasks at scheduled intervals without requiring real-time triggers.
The User module workflow now includes additional conditions and actions to enhance automation flexibility.

- Since User Inactive – This condition calculates time since the user’s last login.
